Who handles your information

Information collected

For purchases we collect your name, email, phone number, UK delivery address, chosen vehicle and price, uploaded photo ID or driving licence, signature and agreement record. The signature record includes the accepted document version, time, IP address and browser information. Ordinary enquiries collect the details submitted in their form.

Why we need it

We use your contact and delivery details to take steps at your request before a contract and fulfil agreed purchases. Photo ID is our requirement to check the person purchasing and prepare accurate purchase and keeper paperwork. It is not an assertion that DVLA always requires a copied ID. We rely on necessary pre-contract or contractual processing for this purpose and our legitimate interests in preventing impersonation and keeping evidence of transactions, subject to your rights. We use proportionate technical data to protect the website. We do not use these forms to enrol you in marketing.

ID attachments and access

Your details and photo ID are sent as attachments to the authorised agents in our configured business email inbox. The signed document is emailed to you and our team. Email providers process those messages; email is not an end-to-end encrypted document portal. Only send the requested ID, and do not add bank-card data or unrelated documents. Contact us before continuing if you need to discuss the ID requirement.

Storage and retention

Website copies of customer details, ID and signed documents are encrypted in a private database and are not published in the media library. Administrative access is restricted to authorised WordPress administrators. Website ID copies are deleted after 7 days. Incomplete purchase records are kept for 30 days; signed transaction records are normally kept for 2190 days unless a shorter period or legal exception applies. These periods apply to the website database. Email copies, hosting logs and backups are handled separately under the business retention policy; contact us for the applicable arrangements. We retain transaction evidence where necessary to meet obligations or handle disputes, and review whether continued retention is justified.

Service providers and transfers

Our hosting, backup and business email providers process information to provide their services. Our team can identify the providers, locations and any applicable international-transfer safeguards on request. Following the WhatsApp link opens a separate service governed by its own privacy policy.

Your rights

Contact us to request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or to object where those rights apply. Some rights are subject to legal exceptions. We may need proportionate information to verify a request. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies and browser storage

The purchase flow stores an essential temporary session token and order reference in your browser session storage to continue the checkout. It does not store your ID or address there. WordPress uses necessary administrator sign-in cookies. This theme adds no advertising or analytics trackers. Other plugins or analytics added by the site owner may require an updated notice and consent controls.
